8:30 A.M. IN THE BENTON MUNICIPAL BUILDING LOCATED AT 1403 SOUTH MAIN STREET, BENTON, ILLINOIS.

COMMISSIONER MILLER CALLED THE MEETING TO ORDER. THOSE PRESENT WERE COMMISSIONER MILLER, COMMISSIONER STOREY, AND COMMISSIONER WYANT. COMMISSIONER BAUMGARTE AND MAYOR KONDRITZ WERE ABSENT.

COMMISSIONER STOREY MADE A MOTION TO APPOINT TODD THOMAS TO THE REND LAKE CONSERVANCY DISTRICT BOARD. SECOND BY COMMISSIONER WYANT. VOTE WAS TAKEN. YEAS: 3. COMMISSIONER MILLER, COMMISSIONER STOREY, AND COMMISSIONER WYANT. NAYS: 0.

COMMISSIONER WYANT MADE A MOTION TO APPROVE PHASE 1 OF THE IDOT DIVISION OF AERONAUTICS STANDARD AGREEMENT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH BROWN AND ROBERTS, INC. SECOND BY COMMISSIONER STOREY. VOTE WAS TAKEN. YEAS: 3. COMMISSIONER MILLER, COMMISSIONER STOREY, AND COMMISSIONER WYANT. NAYS: 0.

UNDER PUBLIC COMMENTS, ROCKY MORRIS AND TOM CARTER SPOKE. THEY STATED THAT THEY BELIEVED THE COUNCIL NEEDED TO MAKE SURE THERE WAS A CLAUSE TO GET OUT OF THE AGREEMENT WITH BROWN AND ROBERTS.

2017 AT 8:30 A.M. IN THE BENTON MUNICIPAL BUILDING LOCATED AT 1403 SOUTH MAIN STREET, BENTON, ILLINOIS. MAYOR KONDRITZ CALLED THE MEETING TO ORDER. THOSE PRESENT WERE COMMISSIONER MILLER, COMMISSIONER STOREY, COMMISSIONER WYANT, COMMISSIONER BAUMGARTE, AND MAYOR KONDRITZ.
MAYOR KONDRITZ ASKED ATTORNEY MALKOVICH TO NAME THE PROPERTIES THAT WERE SOLD AT THE CITY OF BENTON AUCTION HELD ON JULY 1, 2017. ATTORNEY MALKOVICH STATED THAT A MOTION WOULD NEED TO BE MADE ACCEPTING THE BID AMOUNT ON EACH PROPERTY. ALL ACCEPTED BIDS WERE AT LEAST 80% OF THE APPRAISED VALUE OF THE PROPERTY.

ATTORNEY MALKOVICH STATED THAT THE THREE (3) ACRES OF PROPERTY ON SOUTH STUYVESANT STREET WAS BID AT $10,800.00 BY GARRETT BRITTON. MR. BRITTON PUT $1,000.00 DOWN AS EARNEST MONEY. THE CITY OF BENTON WILL OWE G. DAVID GREEN AUCTION $540.00 AND MR. BRITTON WILL OWE G. DAVID GREEN AUCTION $324.00. COMMISSIONER MILLER MADE A MOTION TO ACCEPT THIS BID. SECOND BY COMMISSIONER WYANT. EARTH SERVICES FROM BENTON, ILLINOIS. THE BID FOR DEMOLITION OF 440 WEST CHURCH WAS $6,560.00 AND THE BID FOR THE DEMOLITION OF 408 EAST WEBSTER WAS $6,690.00;

BAKER EXCAVATING FROM BENTON, ILLINOIS. THE BID FOR DEMOLITION OF 440 WEST CHURCH WAS $6,400.00 AND THE BID FOR THE DEMOLITION OF 408 EAST WEBSTER WAS $4,680.00; AND

JOPLIN SALVAGE FROM WEST FRANKFORT, ILLINOIS. THE BID FOR DEMOLITION OF 440 WEST CHURCH WAS $6,700.00 AND THE BID FOR THE DEMOLITION OF 408 EAST WEBSTER WAS $7,200.00.
