To all current Republic Services Customers living in Benton:
Next week the City of Benton and Republic Services will be hosting a Curbside Cleanup. This will be June 21 through June 25, 2021.
Here is a LIST of items that will and will NOT be picked up.

On Monday, August 26, 2019, the City of Benton held a public meeting at the Benton City Hall from 4 p.m. to 5:50 p.m. to discuss the Wastena Street Project. City engineers, Crawford and Associates brought with them the plans for the project, and were available to answer the public’s questions.

8/5/19 Water Main Work Begins on North Main
If you missed the water main replacement project story on WSIL TV 3, click here.
The water main replacement project along North Main (Route 37) will begin this week.
Construction on the project will cause a lane reduction; the north bound lane of North Main will be closed during the duration of the project.
The lane closure will span from Washington Street to Joplin Street. The water main replacement project is expected to last approximately 30 days.
Drivers who regular this area are encouraged to use an alternate route during the project.
